Admissions Procedure

A (Admission Procedure)

  • Registration, Filling Registration Form.

B (Registration Norms)

The academic session is from the 1st April to the 31st March.

Prior registration is compulsory for the new admissions in the School. Admission fee is to be deposited within a week of the Admission Test, failing which the admission will be cancelled and the seat will be declared vacant.

It must be noted that mere registration does not guarantee admission, which will depend on the combined test given at the time of admission. This consists of a Written Test in English, Hindi and Mathematics to assess the suitability of the pupil for a particular class.

The School Authority reserves the right to decide the class to which a pupil can be admitted.

Documents Required

  • Proof of the Date Of Birth from the Municipality or any other competent authority

  • Transfer Certificate issued by the School last attended

  • Original Mark sheet of last attended class

  • Migration Certificate, if any

  • School Board Registration Number, if any

  • Two Copies of the passport-size photographs of the child and one photo each of the parents and the guardian or the person authorized to visit the child on their behalf.

  • Medical Certificate from a qualified doctor to certify that the child is medically fit and free from any infectious disease

  • Affidavit

Removal and Withdrawal

  • The Principal reserves the right to cancel the admission of a student whose performance and progress in studies are unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to the interest and prestige of the institution.

  • The name of the student who fails in the same class twice will automatically be removed from the school rolls.

  • Any student caught using unfair means during an examination will not be retained on the School rolls.

  • In case a student stops attending the School without any prior information to the School authorities, his/her name will be struck off the School rolls after six consecutive days of absence.

Parents are required to giveone month advance written notice to the School authority for the withdrawal of their children. The Transfer Certificate is issued only after the School’s dues are fully paid. If prior notice is not given, fee for one quarter will be charged in lieu thereof.

  • Fees are charged from 1st April irrespective of date of admission

  • The School fees is charged on Quarterly/ Monthly basis

  • The fees are to be paid in full 4 installments. A late fee fine of Rs. 50/- will be charged between 25th to 30th/31st of the first month of each quarter/month. Subsequently in addition to that Rs. 100/- will be charged per month i.e. May Rs. 150/-, June Rs. 250/-, July Rs. 350/-. Name of the student will be struck off the rolls if fees are not paid two consecutive terms and will only be re-instated by paying admission charges.

  • Parents will exclusively bear the expenses on clothes, books, stationery and their maintenance or any other curricular or co-curricular activities.

  • The fee must be deposited in KeshavPuram branch of THE KARUR VYSYA LTD., in cash/cheque. Cash &cheques will be accepted between 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (Lunch time : 1:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. from Monday to Fridays and 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon on Saturdays. (SUNDAY CLOSED). 24x7 fee payment through ATM. Fees can be paid in cash or through a Cheque drawn in favor of the "Tyagi Public School". If 20th happens to be a bank holiday, 19th will be the last day for the payments, in the case both 19th and 20th happen to be holidays, 21st will be the last day for the payment.

  • Fee/charges once deposited is neither refunded nor adjusted in any case.

  • The fee does not include any refundable security or insurance.

  • The School fees is charged on Quarterly/ Monthly basis
